Just in time to refresh your beauty routine, the spring Sephora event starts on Friday April 5th.If you’re a beauty insider, this is the time of year where Sephora offers a discount on all things beauty. It can be a bit overwhelming navigating the site or stores during the sale. But as usual, your beauty bestie has you covered with some Sephora Spring Savings Event recommendations

Beauty Insider Tips

First, if you’re not a member of the Beauty Insider Program go ahead and join, and you’ll be able to start saving immediately. The tiers in the Beauty Insider are VIB Rouge, VIB and Beauty Insider. Depending on your tier, you can save 20, 15 or 10% respectively, and 30% on all items from the Sephora Collection.

For my budget conscious babes(myself included) I have a list of 25 products under $25 dollars from Sephora that you can also shop during the savings event.

Skincare Recommendations

Without delay, let me give you my skincare recommendations. In my opinion, Sephora still reigns supreme in the skincare department and they have plenty to choose from during the Spring savings event.

Makeup Recommendations

As I’m sure you know, it’s a bit hard to narrow down my many makeup choices, I’ve had so many favorites over the last few months. Here are my recommendations of my faves and some new things you should check out.

  • Natasha Denona Hy Glam Concealer– This is a brightening and hydrating medium to full coverage concealer. What makes it special is because it acts as both a color corrector and concealer all in one.
  • Danessa Myricks Blooming Romance Groundwork Palette– If you thought the original, neutral Groundwork palette was fab, get ready for the Blooming Romance. Personally, I LOVE pink tones and this palette is said to be the softest most romantic pink and mauve tones we’ve yet to experience.
  • LYS Higher Standards Cream Blush Sticks My new blush obsession comes from LYS who released blush sticks that give pigment and glow. The packaging is sleek, and the 5 shades range from peach to berry plum.
  • Huda Beauty Peach Pie Loose Setting Powder The newest release to Huda’s epic loose powders is a peach shade that looks great on tan to medium skin tones. I’ve enjoyed using this with my under eye concealer because it’s so lightweight and doesn’t leave me looking cakey.
  • Ami Cole Skin Enhancing Foundation Stick– With a much more inclusive shade range than the skin tint, the new foundation stick is lightweight and very skin-like. It literally melts into your skin like butter. This has become my go to on days when I want a little makeup without being overdone.
  • Danessa Myricks It Girl Blush What’s so great about DM’s products, especially these blush balms is that she makes them multi-use. You can use these vibrant, easy to blend balms on both your cheek and lips.
  • Tower28 Sculpting Contour Cream– Contour and bronze with ease with the Tower28 sculpting cream. It so easy to use, even the most beginner can use this without feeling overwhelmed.
  • Patrick Ta Major Sculpt Contour and Bronzer– An epic duo of cream contour and bronzer in one palette. This makes contouring and bronzing a breeze and the cream and powder last all day.
  • Merit Signature Lightweight Matte Lipstick– Merit has non drying, lightweight matte lipsticks that come in 6 flattering shades from nude pink to vivid red. These pair great with a lip liner or alone.

Fragrance Recommendations

As a note, I was hesitant to post fragrance recommendations because fragrance is so personal. However, if you’re looking to try something new, the Sephora savings is the perfect time. Personally, I prefer rollerballs, especially with a new scent. It gives me a chance to try the fragrance without worrying about if the fragrance will go bad before I use it all.

  • Valentino Born in Roma Intense I went through the travel size of the Valentino Born in Roma Intense in a month, that’s how delicious it is. It’s so sexy and sweet, with notes of jasmine, amber vanilla and benzoin. This is a warm floral fragrance that lasts all day.
  • Brown Girl Jane Fragrance Discovery Set Indulge in the wonderful fragrance discovery set form Brown Girl Jane and see if you can’t pick your favorite. I love to try new fragrances and this set gives you the perfect variety.
  • Prada Paradoxe Eau de Parfum Ooh la la, this scent is absolutely sexy. Very feminine with notes of neroli bud, amber and white musk, this is sure to bring all the boys to the yard.
  • KayAli Eden Sparkling Lychee This fragrance surprised me the most as it is a fruity floral and I’m normally a warm floral girl. However, this will be a fantastic summer scent and is can easily be layered for maximum effect.

To make your browsing even easier, I’ve added all of my suggestions to my Sephora Storefront so you can go through my new and previous favorites.

I hope you enjoy shopping the Sephora sale this spring, and if you’re not partaking, that’s totally ok as well. My cart is very small because I’m working hard on shopping my stash and getting more empty products before I add more to my collection. My biggest tip would be to take full advantage of the skincare and makeup from the Sephora Collection. That is where you’ll get the most bang for your buck and the products are top quality.
