To say I have a ton of skincare products is an understatement. My bathroom counter and some of my linen closet is filled with creams, serums, face washes and toner. I have collected so many products but there is always a few that I keep coming back to.
I decided to taken an inventory of my top products that I reach for daily. It was hard to narrow them down, and some items that I use the most didn’t make the cut. I wanted to keep the list at 5 otherwise this post would be pages long. So let’s get to it.
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil: An oil cleanser that lifts the makeup, dirt and excess oil.
Why I love it: This oil not only removes my makeup, but with my dry skin, it leaves my skin soft and since it’s fragrance free, it’s great for my sensitive skin. I’m a fan of oil cleansing and this oil has been my go-to for some time. You can read more about it in this post
@telekendall Hi bae! I like the Youth to the People Superfoods facial wash. I’ve been using it for a few months and I really like that it doesn’t strip my skin. Anything with hyaluronic acid is great for mature skin because it helps with hydration. CeraVe facial wash and their corresponding moisturizer is a great one as well! For eye creams, I like the Clinique Pep Eye Cream, and the Burts Bees eye cream. Bliss has good night serums, Bliss, AM/PM serums which I get from Target. To start a skin care routine : A facial wash, a serum with Hyaluronic acid, a sunscreen for the day time (Black Girl Sunscreen is a great one) and a night cream with peptides, such as the L’Oreal revitalift line and the Neutrogena hydroboost line. Hope this helps!!
What other skin care products do you recommend for a basic routine. Trying to help my mother build hers bc she doesn’t have one 😫
